The Seven Last Plagues

With all the events happening in today's world, I have been inundated with many emails asking are we experiencing the plagues? Or what are the plagues? Will we be here for the plagues? Are the plagues real? And so on. My favorite one has to be, "How will the Almighty bring about the plagues upon mankind? Will He "re-create" a special situation, plant, virus, or life form so as to do His prophetic bidding? Or will He do as he has done all along? Will he use that which is already created in creation week as He did at the Red Sea?"

Not like Hollywood depicted is it? Hollywood has all the glory fall on Moses who is played by Charlton Heston making it appear he caused the Sea to split. Or Disney with their cartoon Moses that slams his rod into the sea bed making it instantly divide so our spiritual ancestors could walk through to safety. No, in reality the glory is on the Creator of all that is seen and unseen. It was the Creator using those things He already created to do His will. The Creator Himself caused the wind to blow ALL NIGHT LONG so the Sea would "go back" allowing the Earth to dry up so those people He created could walk through to safety on the other side. In fact, it has just been discovered recently where they crossed. Looking from above via satellite one can see a shelf where they crossed. On both sides of the shelf is an immensely deep cavern. This is no doubt where most of Pharaoh's men ended up that day. Plus, they have recently surveyed that shelf from under the water and have pictures of CHARIOT WHEELS lying on that shelf!

So... Has the Almighty given us ample signs of how He will bring about the plagues upon the wicked? Is there evidence within His creation of His hand getting ready to move? Have the prophesied winds started to blow? Are the angels holding them back as promised? Keep in mind folks, the wind blew all night long BEFORE the path was ready. Can our eyes see "four winds" that the Angels are holding back even now? Is our Lord allowing us more ammunition so as to evangelize those stragglers and scoffers among us? In either event, let's see what's been going on right now shall we?

And by the way.I am not claiming the plagues are already started. I am merely reading the signs that prove they are near, and at the very door step. Even before the flood of Noah came they had to have seen the warning signs of a flood headed their way. (Want to know what brings on the plagues? Click here)

PLAGUE #1  (Boils)

Pfiesteria piscicida (Pp) and several other recently discovered one-celled microorganisms called dinoflagellates have been linked to flesh ulcers in fish and to fish kills ("lesioned fish kills") in eastern US coastal waters.1-3 Laboratory workers exposed to Pp toxins have developed transient, adverse neurocognitive effects, including memory disturbances, that have few, if any, residua. There are reports that individuals exposed to estuarine waters in Maryland in late summer and fall 1997, prior to and during lesioned fish kills, developed symptomatic neurocognitive deficits.4-8 In this article, we review studies done to define the risks of Pp toxin exposure and the efforts under way in North Carolina to further address this problem 

A number of erroneous reports have attributed rashes and other skin lesions to Pp and MROs. Some have even included pictures of human skin ulcers juxtaposed to fish ulcers.28-29 Thorough evaluation of reported cases by OEES medical epidemiologists, as well as by dermatologists in both North Carolina and Maryland, has attributed most cases to bacteria and other microbes common to estuarine waters and known to cause rashes, boils, ulcers, and other skin problems. Sometimes skin lesions were caused by chronic irritation and trauma associated with fishing and crabbing and from occupational sun and water exposure; still others were unrelated to water exposure. -C. Do a search yourself on the Internet for "RED TIDE" and see for yourselves all the literally hundreds of thousands of articles about this boil forming parasite that is attacking fish as well as humans that actually turns water blood red. (I will get into that in the next 2 plagues) My last check on Google (09/12/2005) alone brought up 619,000 pages on this topic. Notice how many of those sites are generated from our own Scientists, both young and old! And also notice how "baffled" they are. In fact, one of the scientists claim the microbe that's causing the problem is an alien being from outerspace! Some will go to any lengths they can before accepting the fact that the Creator God said this was inevitable.

Fact is, the Lord said there would come upon mankind BOILS as a result of their denial of His love and truth, and as many of us already know, science will TRY to give us some scientific reason for the boils. In fact, Scientists are already trying to explain away ALL that the Lord is doing. Whether it is evolution, or these prophesied boils that are soon to be upon the wicked. They can only scoff and cough now as we see it coming to fruition. Will their scoffing stop it from happening? Of course not. They scoffed at Noah when he said it was going to rain, did that stop the now scientifically proven global flood? By the way, Science has also dated the flood to be around the time the Christian Bible speaks of a Global flood. Still. they scoff.

The truth of the matter is, even the Lord explained he was using the wind to blow all night to split the Red Sea. And, it did split! He said it was going to rain and it did rain. So Science can try to explain away how these plagues are about to happen. It won't stop that which is written!

PLAGUE #2 & 3 (Bloody inland waters, and black waters in Oceans)

 

All over the Internet you see stories and actual pictures of blood red waters in both the ocean as well as inland waters now. I have here pictures of a fresh water lake with bloody stains lurking about it filled with dead fish with boils all over them. A photo of the eb-tide coming in off the coast of California as well as the Gulf of Mexico with blood red water riding on top of the regular waters.

I also have a pic here of a water spout shooting out of the ground in Spain. The photo was taken on September 6, 2000. Here's an excerpt from the article. (I also have the entire article in a link up above)


Spanish Waterspout Gushes Nonstop
 Sept. 6, 2000 - A huge column of red water has been spewing from Spanish soil for almost six weeks, baffling geologists who have no explanation for the phenomenon. The 100-foot-high gusher of reddish water, mixed with soil and carbon dioxide, is being shot from the parched soil of La Mancha in central Spain at the rate of 13 gallons per second.

The water burst forth on July 25, as olive growers in the city of Granatula de Calatrava were deepening an existing well. They initially tried unsuccessfully to stop the flow of water by piling rocks over the opening.

Amazing isn't it? They were digging a well for water and suddenly red water comes gushing out of the ground shooting 100 feet into the air! At the reporting of that article, it had been shooting out of the hole since July 25, and it was not slowing down at all! Nearly  6 straight weeks since it began and it was still going strong. I never checked back on that article as it was all I needed at the time to prove a point for a dear soul.

FISHING TIPS...   RED WATER
At times during the early hours the sea is too calm and the water too clear for certain big fish. This does not mean that very muddy water is better. It is definitely not. When the water is red you might just as well leave that section. The so-called "red water" is not just muddy water. It is caused by millions of minute organisms that strike an area like a plague, killing and sickening most of the sea life over which the cloud passes. These little specks of animal life use up all of the oxygen in the water and otherwise contaminate it. Mussels, clams, and other shellfishes become poisonous and if eaten by humans are likely to prove fatal. With the first appearance of "red water" in the summer, the states along the Pacific quarantine mussels and clams as unfit for human consumption. (SOURCE http://www.atagulf.com/fishing.htm)

Doing some research later I found on some of those scientific sites that the average lifespan per infected fish was one hour per pound. In other words, when this parasite shoots out its tendrils, and attaches to a fish, it causes the fish to become covered in boils which seep a toxic fluid that turns H2o blood red. If the fish weighs 1 pound, it's dead in one hour. If it weighs 100 pounds, it will live 100 hours, and so on.

As for the seas turning into the "blood of a dead man." What color is dead blood? Black, right? Will a massive oil spill turn the oceans into the "blood of a dead man?" Time will tell.

 QUESTION:
Why do you suppose the Creator is allowing the water to turn to blood? Truth is, man reaps as he sews. The Lord always gives the man what he desires in his heart. The Word of God gives us a blunt answer to the question.

Those that thirst after blood shall have all the blood they can ever imagine. The plagues are merely rebukes on those that persecute the Lord's children all throughout History. That's right. BABYLON IS THE MAIN TARGET HERE! And WHO is Babylon?

For all those that are within Babylon, the SUN worshipping SUNday keeping churches of the world will look upon this one as their blessing directly. This is an open rebuke of Biblical proportions upon this so called "SUNday" Sabbath. Yet...will they repent? Think about that for a moment. The very SUN gOD they worshipped is now become their tormentor. And it is not "dancing in the sky" as Satan made it appear to do back in 1917 over Fatima. Back then, it was done before the eyes of those being deceived directly by the first mainstream manifestation of Satan himself as "Mary the mother of Jesus." This plague is an open rebuke on all those that do as the Sun worshipping Whore of Babylon has taught them THE WORLD OVER this time. Yet again I ask...will they repent? Well according to the most accurate prophecies of all time. Not likely.

Now do you understand why preaching during the plagues is useless. Even though the Almighty is making Himself so graphically, and 100% prophetically realized before the eyes of every man woman and child, THEY STILL REFUSE to repent! Makes this next passage all the more likely to be understood doesn't it?

In other words... Those that are lost, STAY LOST after the prophesied plagues begin. So why preach at that time? Another fact is, those that are saved STAY SAVED as well! This is the last few months of Earths history. (See Revelation 18:8)

The Plagues are the self desired judgment of the wicked. It is what they truly want, it is what they truly desire. All their lives the Lord has tried time and time again to get them to embrace His love and truth, which by the way would have given them peace and happiness in life as well as eternal life. But their sin was what they loved and cherished even though sin can only bless them with misery, turmoil, and death. So, again, the Lord simply gives them what they truly desire.

The Plagues are also used to glorify the Lord. How? The true Christian is not affected by them! Psalms 91:10 says, "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." The wicked will have the boils, the bloody water, the searing heat as well as the rest of the plagues upon them. Strange thing is, the Christian will be blamed for all their problems when that day comes.

In fact, the method by which brings on the plagues is their claiming the Christians are the reasons for all the disasters on earth. They will suggest all have to keep holy the Roman invented Sunday Sabbath as a way to prevent further destruction by all the natural disasters. Almost every Christian on earth will agree as will all the other religions to go along with the Roman mandate of keeping Sunday holy. Problem is, the disasters won't stop at all. Instead they actually escalate. So of course they will then blame the true Sabbath keeping Christian for the calamites continuing. The "buy and sell" prophesied event of Revelation 13:17 begins, and still the Sabbath keepers seem blessed and unaffected by the global problems and refuse to go along with the one world church. So, the death decree of Revelation 13:15 is enacted to try and get them to comply, and THAT ACT causes the plagues to start. Their own hatred of truth is what seals their fate.

In it I have the article from the Presbyterian church of Scotland proclaiming the Tsunami was the end result of people not going to church on Sundays! In other words. we are in the last moments of time just before plagues start.

What if the fires were more frequent and more in number? Or perhaps a fair sized meteor hits the Earth causing thousands of metric tons of Earth to be spewed into the atmosphere? Perhaps the "ring of fire" that so many Scientists believe will soon expel massive dumps of Volcanic ash will occur? Or worse yet... all three happen simultaneously in different areas of the Globe? Truth is, they don't even have to hit the same day. It could be one month of fire... next month Volcanoes. And so on and so forth.  TTH071411

I remember as a young man studying the now realized bogus prophecies of the Roman Catholic church. They had one in particular that mimicked this plague so as to relieve the fear their religion naturally places inside the hearts of their followers when talk of the plagues comes about. They stated that soon there will be 3 days of darkness. Only those with bee's wax candles blessed by a Roman priest in their homes will have light in their homes. Biblically, that's not what is to occur at all. You see this plague is also a rebuke on the Whore who was supposed to be a Bride to Christ. True Bible believing Christians are to be the Light of the World, not blasphemous Priests, Cardinals. Bishops, Nuns, and Popes. Look at this plague and see for yourself the plain truth on this. It's as if the Almighty is stating to the Roman Catholic Church specifically, "You set yourselves up in sinful ways as the light of the world instead of Christian ways that would glorify Me. I judge you in the darkness you love and openly embrace, and in so doing I expose you as evil, and glorify myself as a God of 100% accuracy in prophecy" The Roman church, and now all the churches that have joined with her, prefer the darkness over the light just as Jesus said they would.

Like the others, this plague gives them the desire of their hearts. They love darkness, then darkness is theirs.

I honestly pray the Catholics as well as any churches embracing her doctrines choose to embrace Jesus before it's too late. For it is bad enough standing in open judgment. It's not easy being in pain. Imagine it all being experienced in TOTAL DARKNESS on top of it. Yet, still... will they repent?

When the proclamation is made in Revelation 22:11 that whosoever is unjust is going to stay that way. All that they are going through will become even more horrendous. For it is written...

These plagues are poured out upon the wicked WITHOUT MERCY. The Holy Spirit will not be there to hold back the wrath of God, and nor will those four angels. All those evil men in the governments, all those evil people the world over will no longer be prevented from doing those deeds they so often dream of doing upon their fellow man. The world will literally be blanketed in a cover of evil like never before. NOW imagine this darkness. Now imagine what the wicked will experience WITHOUT the Holy Spirit there to protect them, and a sure sense deep within that no God will help them at all. The only ones receiving the protection now are those few children of God still on the planet that they themselves hate with a passion. And again, the StRaNgE thing here is THEY are the ones being blamed for the reason the world is experiencing the plagues. That's right. Those of us who refuse to go along with the "SUNday Sabbath" and break the Laws of God, will not bend or break at this time. And because we refuse to bow to their evil laws, they openly declare it is our fault these plagues are upon mankind. In fact they will echo a phrase said long ago that Jesus heard while standing in the court. They will shout, "It is better that these die than the entire human race be wiped out" Remember also, no Holy Spirit it there to stop them. They can easily pass laws now that put a date to our execution. Their evil hearts have grown so wicked murder appears acceptable to them. This will indeed be the "time of Jacob's trouble" for the true Child of God. However, we will not die! I like the way E.G. White put it so long ago...

"If the blood of Christ's faithful witnesses were shed at this time, it would not, like the blood of the martyrs, be as seed sown to yield a harvest for God." -Great Controversy p634 (1911)

Our deaths will no longer help others see the Light. When the plagues start, martyrdom will STOP! No longer will the hearts of the lost be moved by the death of a peaceful Christian.  Instead, there are Angels of the Lord making the weapons of the wicked miraculously fall like dried leaves. They will be baffled at how they are unable to come against us to do us harm. They truly cannot "see" the hand of God upon His children because they have not the eyes to see. They will try, but their attacks at this time are futile. For it is written...

PLAGUE #6 (Euphrates)

Many preachers the world over have suggested that this passage declares a great drought will cause the great Euphrates river to dry up so as to allow for a massive army to cross it. Is this plausible, or even necessary in today's world? Do we really need to have that river dried up to prepare for the armies to cross? The Euphrates is 2235 miles long. It flows through Turkey, Syria and Iraq. It irrigates large agricultural areas, especially in Iraq. For that to dry up would be a major disaster to say the least. Far worse then any disaster outside the flood of Noah itself. Still, is it necessary for the river to dry up? I would think it would be a far greater task for armies coming from the east to have to deal with the Himalaya mountains and deserts of Iran. The river would be an easy task compared to those. If they were going to cross the river, where it flows through Syria would be the best place to cross seeing how it narrows down to under a mile in width. In fact, ancient armies crossed it using boats and pontoon bridges. Better yet, on D-Day, June 6, 1944, the Allies successfully crossed the English Channel where it was 100 miles wide, and in stormy weather to boot! So, no, the preachers that declare a major drought is needed so as to allow for large armies from the east are most assuredly wrong.

The word "dried up" is also translated as ripened in Strongs #3583. So how does this make sense when using a natural translation of the word "waters?" It doesn't. However, when you discover what the word "waters" mean in prophecy, it them makes more sense.

In Daniel's day, the great river Euphrates was the main source of Babylon's trade and communication as well as the life-giving water for drinking and irrigation of the crops. When this river was deep and flowing full, it also attributed to the defense of that great city. In other words, the great Euphrates was something Babylon needed and could not do without. Now prophetically speaking, Babylon once again relies on this water, however now it needs it in the prophetic sense of the word. This river is symbolic of the people controlled by Babylon.

In Revelation 17:15, where the great city Babylon is likened to a whore it states plainly that, "...The waters which thou sawest, where the whore (Babylon) sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. " So the river "Euphrates" in prophecy is actually a symbol of the worlds population organized under human governments. (Babylon) Isaiah also confirms Revelation's prophetic definition of "peoples and multitudes and nations" when it states.

Isaiah says the King of Assyria will come upon them as many waters does he not? Even Matthew Henry translates that passage by stating, "As a gentle brook is an apt emblem of a mild government, so an overflowing torrent represents a conqueror and tyrant. -Matthew Henry on Isaiah 8:7

Christ said in Matthew chapter 13 when relating to the wheat and the tares that they should grow together UNTIL HARVEST did He not? The only time one should harvest is when the fruit is ripe for picking. The fruit that is healthy and plump is good for the owner of the field, but the weeds that resemble the wheat are shrunken and useless and good only for burning. In reality, the hearts of the wicked have become constricted, like dried up wine skins. Even the fig tree was "dried up" when it stood useless without fruit before the Lord in Matthew chapter 21. This illustrated how Israel appears to the Lord when His grace is removed from them. The wicked on this earth just before Christ's return will have no grace whatsoever. They will be ready for the harvest as were the tares in Matthew 13.

This drying up does indeed prepare the way for the "Kings of the East" for it is written that Christ comes out of the Eastern sky at His second coming with His Father. And He will not do so until both the Wheat and Tares are ripe and ready for the harvest. On that day there will be only two classes of people on earth, the saved and the lost. Armageddon is a global conflict that will end in Christ's visible return. 

Two great opposing powers are revealed in the last great battle. On one side stands the Creator of heaven and earth. All on His side bear His signet. They are obedient to His commands. On the other side stands the prince of darkness, with those who have chosen apostasy and rebellion -Review and Herald May 7, 1901 (Bible Commentary p982)

The powers of evil will not yield up the conflict without a struggle. But Providence has a part to act in the battle of Armageddon. When the earth is lighted with the glory of the angel of Revelation eighteen, the religious elements, good and evil, will awake from slumber, and the armies of the living God will take the field -Bible Commentary p 983

What they seek to do to us actually brings on the last plague that destroys them completely. Keep in mind that the four angels are no longer holding back the four winds and the Holy Spriit is no longer stopping the evil desires and thoughts as well as actions of the wicked. Can you imagine the types of laws that will pass now that proclamation of Revelation 22:11 has been made declaring whoever is lost will remain lost and whoever is Heaven bound will remain Heaven bound? Think of it! It will openly reflect the fact that the demons whispering so often in the ears of our Government officials will now be doing so with ABSOLUTE total control over them. The Holy Spirit has backed away allowing the UN-MIXED wrath of the Almighty and ever living Creator to be played out. No Holy Spirit to give them "second thoughts" or "morals" to steer them away from their evil intent. No Holy Spirit to prevent them from doing ALL that prophecy declared must happen. With that in mind, are the nations of the world coming together as a flood against the children of the Lord? Are the "many waters" or "peoples and multitudes and tongues" finally joining as one? Yes they are! They are right now gathering as one so as to mobilize for the battle of Armageddon. Biblically speaking, it will be  a WORLDWIDE conflict pitting rebellious man and evils spirits against the Creator and His loyal followers. The outcome will be the eternal deliverance of God's people when the Lamb, and the One who "sits on the throne" arrive on the scene as the well prophesied "Kings of the east."  

Check out the book of Esther if you want inkling as to what will occur that day! I implore you! It actually echo's what we will see very shortly. You will also do well to dwell often on the situation that occurred at the Red Sea. When all seemed a total loss, the Almighty split that sea to allow His children to be delivered! What was once a barrier proclaiming certain destruction in the eyes of His children, suddenly became not only a way of escape, but also direct judgment perfectly enacted upon those that looked to destroy the true children of the Lord.

PLAGUE #7 (Hail)

The wicked are gathered the world over seeking to kill the Lord's people because of a pre-set date given them by the governments to kill all those that keep Sabbath instead of Sunday holy. This death decree is what actually caused the plagues to begin in the first place. Their "ok" to kill us brings on the final plague that kills them instead, just like Haman in Esther's day. It is a war people. Evil against good and on this day the battle lines are clearly drawn. And as He has done so often before, the Lord fights for His people. But this time it is a global conflict that every eye shall see!

One rather graphic feature of the final plague would have to be the great hail that falls out of Heaven. The Scriptures declare these hail stones to be about a "talent" in weight each. So... How heavy is a "talent?" 

talent: of silver contained 3,000 shekels (Ex. 38:25, 26), and was equal to 94 3/7 lbs. avoirdupois. The Greek talent, however, as in the LXX., was only 82 1/4 lbs. It was in the form of a circular mass, as the Hebrew name kikkar denotes. A talent of gold was double the weight of a talent of silver (2 Sam. 12:30). Parable of the talents (Matt. 18:24; 25:15). -Eastons Dictionary

Whatever the case may be. If it's 82 1/4 lbs, or 200lbs. That "hail" will be traveling at an astronomical velocity when it hits its target. And rest assured, who, or whatever it hits, will NOT be there afterwards! All of the wicked will die on this day as a direct result of coming against the child of God. There will be no 1000 years of Christ reigning either at this time! That is a lie of Rome to get people to believe Antichrist ON EARTH is Jesus incarnate. As prophesied, their weapons will fall at their sides absolutely useless, and they will die in great horror. Hebrews 10:31 plainly says, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." And so it will be!

This particular plague is one that is yet to arrive "in reality." What I mean is this. I can share with you tons of URL's pointing to a massive increase in meteoric activity. Is that THIS plague's herald? No. Why not? because this one will arrive on its own. It will be a massive comet that is yet to be discovered. (hail = water, and comets are mostly ice) Or.. has it already been sighted, and our Government leaders have decided not to "panic" the people? Looking at today's lie embracing media, along with Vatican and White House spin doctors playing games on a daily basis with the Truth. I would not be the least bit surprised that this "planet killer" is already on the horizon.

And by the way, those pictures of the ice are ACTUAL hail stones that fell out of the sky in Spain back in January of 2000.

As Bible believing Christians, we realize that the Almighty prefers that all men are saved. He does not want anyone to die, or eventually burn in hellfire. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Most of you receiving my Newsletters understand that the Lord has been blessing us all with ample time to get right with Him so as to be ready for His arrival. As it was in the days of Noah, we too have had many years to prepare. Noah had the 120 years to build the ark and warn the people. So far we have had over 161 years since the end began. (as of 2005) How do we know that? It has to do with the well documented and HISTORICALLY DATED prophecy of Daniel chapter 9. This is one prophecy that has blessed us all with the ability to proclaim to those that say "History repeats itself" with proof that, nope... not prophetic history. That can't possibly happen. Because the prophecy of Daniel stated certain events that needed to occur in certain years of man's existence. How do you repeat a date in time?

A basic study of eschatology on this particular prophecy makes it rather clear that the 2300 year prophecy came to a climax in 1844. I have a breakdown of this prophecy in my book, "The Rapture." Why do I have it in that book? It is from this particular prophecy that the two Catholic Jesuits priests twisted prophetic events to preach a lie called "A Seven Year Trib" to the unsuspecting world so as to squelch the great reformation of Luther. I share evidence of that fact as well in that book. And yes, this book is free as well.

Last warning? After 161 years... it is still proclaimed... If you are in the Roman Catholic church, or if you embrace the teaching of the Roman Catholic church in YOUR church, you are in Babylon. And right now ALL mainline protestant churches do, INCLUDING the Seventh-Day Adventist church! This Bible verse was written FOR YOU! 

For those of us that are NOT defiled by these churches, are we worried about these plagues?  I can honestly hear a resounding NO! Echoing across the land.

Is it becoming clearer why it is called to be SAVED?

DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE SAVED?  

Even when we cannot "buy or sell" anything. Even when they threaten us with certain starvation. Even when our homes are taken from us. Our Lord has promised us a place of safety, food to eat, and water to drink. Just as He did for Elijah!

What does Spirit of Prophecy say about the plagues?

The First Two Plagues

     When Christ ceases His intercession in the sanctuary, the unmingled wrath threatened against those who worship the beast and his image and receive his mark (Revelation 14:9, 10), will be poured out. The plagues upon Egypt when God was about to deliver Israel, were similar in character to those more terrible and extensive judgments which are to fall upon the world just before the final deliverance of God's people. Says the revelator, in describing those terrific scourges: "There fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image." The sea "became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea" [Revelation 16:2, 3].--GC 627, 628 (1911).  {LDE 244.1}  

     The plagues were falling upon the inhabitants of the earth. Some were denouncing God and cursing Him. Others rushed to the people of God and begged to be taught how they might escape His judgments. But the saints had nothing for them. The last tear for sinners had been shed, the last agonizing prayer offered, the last burden borne, the last warning given.--EW 281 (1858).  {LDE 244.2}  

The Third Plague

     I saw that the four angels would hold the four winds until Jesus' work was done in the sanctuary, and then will come the seven last plagues. These plagues enraged the wicked against the righteous; they thought that we had brought the judgments of God upon them and that if they could rid the earth of us the plagues would then be stayed. A decree went forth to slay the saints, which caused them to cry day and night for deliverance.--EW 36, 37 (1851).  {LDE 245.1}  

     And "the rivers and fountains of waters . . . became blood." Terrible as these inflictions are, God's justice stands fully vindicated. The angel of God declares: "Thou art righteous, O Lord, . . . because Thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and Thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy" (Revelation 16:2-6). By condemning the people of God to death, they have as truly incurred the guilt of their blood as if it had been shed by their hands.--GC 628 (1911).  {LDE 245.2}  

The Fourth Plague

     In the plague that follows, power is given to the sun "to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat" (Revelation 16:8, 9). The prophets thus describe the condition of the earth at this fearful time: "The land mourneth; . . . because the harvest of the field is perished. . . . All the trees of the field are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men." "The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate. . . . How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture. . . . The rivers of water are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness." "The songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord God: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence" (Joel 1:10-12, 17-20; Amos 8:3).  {LDE 245.3}  

     These plagues are not universal, or the inhabitants of the earth would be wholly cut off. Yet they will be the most awful scourges that have ever been known to mortals.--GC 628, 629 (1911).  {LDE 246.1}

 The Fifth Plague

     With shouts of triumph, jeering, and imprecation, throngs of evil men are about to rush upon their prey, when, lo, a dense blackness, deeper than the darkness of the night, falls upon the earth. Then a rainbow, shining with the glory from the throne of God, spans the heavens, and seems to encircle each praying company. The angry multitudes are suddenly arrested. Their mocking cries die away. The objects of their murderous rage are forgotten. With fearful forebodings they gaze upon the symbol of God's covenant, and long to be shielded from its overpowering brightness. . . .  {LDE 246.2}  

     It is at midnight that God manifests His power for the deliverance of His people. The sun appears, shining in its strength. Signs and wonders follow in quick succession. The wicked look with terror and amazement on the scene, while the righteous behold with solemn joy the tokens of their deliverance.--GC 635, 636 (1911).  {LDE 246.3}

God's Law Appears in the Sky

     There appears against the sky a hand holding two tables of stone folded together. Says the prophet, "The heavens shall declare His righteousness: for God is judge Himself" (Psalm 50:6). That holy law, God's righteousness, that amid thunder and flame was proclaimed from Sinai as the guide of life, is now revealed to men as the rule of judgment. The hand opens the tables, and there are seen the precepts of the Decalogue, traced as with a pen of fire. The words are so plain that all can read them. Memory is aroused, the darkness of superstition and heresy is swept from every mind, and God's ten words, brief, comprehensive, and authoritative, are presented to the view of all the inhabitants of the earth.--GC 639 (1911).  {LDE 247.1}

The Lost Condemn Their False Shepherds

     Church members who have seen the light and been convicted, but who have trusted the salvation of their souls to the minister, will learn in the day of God that no other soul can pay the ransom for their transgression. A terrible cry will be raised, "I am lost, eternally lost." Men will feel as though they could rend in pieces the ministers who have preached falsehoods and condemned the truth.--4BC 1157 (1900).  {LDE 247.2}  

     All unite in heaping their bitterest condemnation upon the ministers. Unfaithful pastors have prophesied smooth things; they have led their hearers to make void the law of God and to persecute those who would keep it holy. Now, in their despair, these teachers confess before the world their work of deception. The multitudes are filled with fury. "We are lost!" they cry, "and you are the cause of our ruin"; and they turn upon the false shepherds. The very ones that once admired them most, will pronounce the most dreadful curses upon them. The very hands that once crowned them with laurels, will be raised for their destruction. The swords which were to slay God's people, are now employed to destroy their enemies.--GC 655, 656 (1911).  {LDE 247.3}  

     Here we see that the church--the Lord's sanctuary--was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men [Ezekiel 9:6], those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust.--5T 211 (1882).  {LDE 248.1}  

     God's Word is made of none effect by false shepherds. . . . Their work will soon react upon themselves. Then will be witnessed the scenes described in Revelation 18 when the judgments of God shall fall upon mystical Babylon.--Ms 60, 1900.  {LDE 248.2}

The Sixth Plague

     The spirits of devils will go forth to the kings of the earth and to the whole world, to fasten them in deception, and urge them on to unite with Satan in his last struggle against the government of heaven.--GC 624 (1911).  {LDE 248.3}  

     The Spirit of God is gradually withdrawing from the world. Satan is also mustering his forces of evil, going forth "unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world," to gather them under his banner, to be trained for "the battle of that great day of God Almighty" [Revelation 16:14].--7BC 983 (1890).  {LDE 249.1}

     After John's description in Revelation 16 of that miracle-working power which was to gather the world to the last great conflict, the symbols are dropped and the trumpet voice once more gives a certain sound: "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame" [Revelation 16:15]. After the transgression of Adam and Eve they were naked, for the garment of light and security had departed from them.  {LDE 249.2}  

     The world will have forgotten the admonition and warnings of God as did the inhabitants of the Noatic world, as did also the dwellers in Sodom. They awoke with all their plans and inventions of iniquity, but suddenly the shower of fire came from heaven and consumed the godless inhabitants. "Thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed" [Luke 17:30].--14MR 96, 97 (1896).  {LDE 249.3}  

NOTE: She is refering to the fulfilling of Revelation 16:12 that causes / allows the "kings of the earth" to gather. Revelation 16:12 states,  "And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. "

The Last Great Battle Between Good and Evil

     Two great opposing powers are revealed in the last great battle. On one side stands the Creator of heaven and earth. All on His side bear His signet. They are obedient to His commands. On the other side stands the prince of darkness, with those who have chosen apostasy and rebellion.--7BC 982, 983 (1901).  {LDE 249.4}  

     A terrible conflict is before us. We are nearing the battle of the great day of God Almighty. That which has been held in control is to be let loose. The angel of mercy is folding her wings, preparing to step down from the throne and leave the world to the control of Satan. The principalities and powers of earth are in bitter revolt against the God of heaven. They are filled with hatred against those who serve Him, and soon, very soon, will be fought the last great battle between good and evil. The earth is to be the battle field--the scene of the final contest and the final victory. Here, where for so long Satan has led men against God, rebellion is to be forever suppressed.--RH May 13, 1902.  {LDE 250.1}  

     The battles waging between the two armies are as real as those fought by the armies of this world, and on the issue of the spiritual conflict eternal destinies depend.--PK 176 (c. 1914).  {LDE 250.2}

All the World Will Be Gathered on One Side or the Other

     All the world will be on one side or the other of the question. The battle of Armageddon will be fought. And that day must find none of us sleeping. Wide awake we must be, as wise virgins having oil in our vessels with our lamps. The power of the Holy Ghost must be upon us and the Captain of the Lord's host will stand at the head of the angels of heaven to direct the battle.--3SM 426 (1890).  {LDE 250.3}  

     The enmity of Satan against good will be manifested more and more as he brings his forces into activity in his last work of rebellion, and every soul that is not fully surrendered to God and kept by divine power will form an alliance with Satan against heaven and join in battle against the Ruler of the universe.--TM 465 (1892).  {LDE 251.1}  

     Soon all the inhabitants of the earth will have taken sides, either for or against the government of heaven.--7T 141 (1902).  {LDE 251.2}

The Seventh Plague

     We need to study the pouring out of the seventh vial [Revelation 16:17-21].

Revelation 16:17-21 "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.18  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19  And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

The powers of evil will not yield up the conflict without a struggle. But Providence has a part to act in the battle of Armageddon. When the earth is lighted with the glory of the angel of Revelation eighteen, the religious elements, good and evil, will awake from slumber, and the armies of the living God will take the field.--7BC 983 (1899).  {LDE 251.3}  

     The battle of Armageddon is soon to be fought. He on whose vesture is written the name, King of kings and Lord of lords, leads forth the armies of heaven on white horses, clothed in fine linen, clean and white [Revelation 19:11-16].--7BC 982 (1899).  {LDE 251.4}  

     The whole earth heaves and swells like the waves of the sea. Its surface is breaking up. Its very foundations seem to be giving way. Mountain chains are sinking. Inhabited islands disappear. The seaports that have become like Sodom for wickedness, are swallowed up by the angry waters. . . . The proudest cities of the earth are laid low. The lordly palaces, upon which the world's great men have lavished their wealth in order to glorify themselves, are crumbling to ruin before their eyes. Prison walls are rent asunder, and God's people, who have been held in bondage for their faith, are set free.--GC 637 (1911).  {LDE 251.5}
