Reasons
you may be experiencing problems entering the rooms.
- If your using DIAL-UP, try hanging up
and re-dialing your ISP. Some ISP's that offer dial-up have bad modems
in the block, or the connection is a bit slow or noisy on your end when
you connected. You need a clean connection for audio chats. They require
a lot of bandwidth so that you can use the audio and text at the same
time.
- Your copy of the audio chat software
has become corrupted somehow. If so,
to
download the newest version manually. Just save it to your iVocalize
folder on your hard drive. (Should be in the "root" or C:/
directory on your hard drive) After you have done that, try to re-enter
the room.
- If you have NEVER been able to enter
a room, it may be that you never downloaded the iVocalize software in
the first place. (Some browsers can't do this automatically) If so,
to
download the newest version manually. Create a new folder on the "C"
Drive of your computer called, iVocalize.
Then, just save it to you're the new iVocalize folder you just created
on your hard drive. (Should be in the "root" or C:/ directory)
After you have done that, try to re-enter the room.
- Set your FIREWALL software to allow
for "IVOCALIZE" complete trusted access. (Ivocalize is the
name of the software for this audio chat)
