Just the other day I was telling a freind that
all you have to do to
forestall a computer lockup on Jan 1, 2000 is to back date the computer for
was far back as you need. Remember the old dos computers? Remember what
happens when the battery's went dead on the motherboard? It resulted in a
date of 1/1/80 booting up everytime you started up. You had to physically
change the date to match reality everytime.
Talk about livin in the past...
> PROPOSAL SEEKS TO MOVE BACK 'OFFICIAL' NEW YEAR'S DAY
As the countdown for Jan. 1, 2000, closes in, some technology professionals
may need every precious minute to ensure computer systems won't fail. They will
get even more time than they thought if legislation is passed that would change
the "official" New Year's Day holiday next year.
They do this and we will actually be living in "Borrowed time" eh? Noah
preached 120 years about the flood... So far the Remnant has preached 155
years (This coming October 22) about the return of Jesus. Fact is we really
ARE living in borrowed time. X2
