Venezuela disaster 'worst this century'

The Red Cross has said this month's devastating floods in Venezuela could be Latin America's worst natural disaster of the 20th century.

George Weber, secretary-general of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, said as many as 50,000 people may have been killed by mudslides and flash floods on Venezuela's Caribbean coast two weeks ago.
