And to the Inhabitants
of the Earth"
- Job 14:10-12 “But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man
giveth up the ghost, and where is he? As the waters fail from the sea, and the
flood decayeth and drieth up: So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the
heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.”
- 1
Corinthians 15:42-44,51-55, “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in
corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised
in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural
body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body... Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we
shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and
this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be
brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory. O death, where is thy sting? O
grave, where is thy victory?”
- Revelation
3:3-2, “Be
watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I
have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast
received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not
watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will
come upon thee.”
- Psalms
51:10-12, “Create
in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not
away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me
the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”
- Mark 12:42-55, “And there came a certain poor widow,
and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his
disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow
hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all
they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that
she had, even all her living.”
- Matthew
25:26-30, “...Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap
where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strowed: Thou oughtest therefore
to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have
received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it
unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given,
and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away
even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
- Matthew 6:24, “No man
can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or
else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and
mammon.”
Amen!
